VETERINARY SURGEON
We are looking for another fantastic Vet to join our awesome team
-Small Animal only
-38hr working week
-DR X-ray & Ultrasound
-Dental suite with Dental X-ray
-Cumbria, Lake District
-1 in 5 weekends On Call
We are looking for a vet to join our amazing team at The Vet Whitehaven. We have had a fantastic start to our business since opening 18 months ago. We are currently a 4 vet practice, hoping to increase to 5 vets.
About You
We would like somebody who believes in our Core Values of Compassion, Trust & Community. We are looking for somebody who has a positive attitude, excellent patient and client care, clear and polite communication skills, an all-round GP. If you are a New Graduate, please apply our large supportive team will help you, ease you in gently to General Practice offering support Out of Hours.

- We offer a competitive salary (up to £68,000 plus enhancements for Out-Of-Hours).
- An opportunity to really care for our patients in a modern setting with an innovative cloud based Practice Management System, a large waiting room, three consulting rooms, Imaging room with DR X-ray & Ultrasound, Dental suite with dental X-ray, Theatre, Kennels and separate Cattery.

- At least 15 minute consults with shared surgery days if desired.
- Full Time (based on 38 hour working week, paid lunch break, plus one night on call a week and one in five weekends).
- Part Time position, as above pro rata. We understand the importance of flexibility, a role that fits around your lifestyle and one you can work around your family commitments.
- Excellent benefits – CPD allowance or two years New Grad Scheme, RCVS & VDS fees paid.
- Great atmosphere and supporting work environment with 7 experienced, qualified veterinary nurses and 2 ANAs.
- We do our own Out-Of-Hours and Inpatient Care. Currently we have four full time vets. Weekend opening hours are 9am-1pm Saturday and 10am-12 noon Sunday.
- Driving licence required.

VETERINARY NURSE
Attention all lovely Veterinary Nurses!
We are looking for a nurse to join our amazing expanding team at The Vet Whitehaven. We currently have 7 qualified RVNs who are assisted by 2 ANAs, and need someone who believes in our Core Values of Compassion, Trust & Community. We are looking for somebody who has a positive attitude, excellent patient and client care, clear and polite communication skills.
We are an independent, female owned small animal veterinary practice. We practise care and compassion, not just towards our patients and clients, but towards our colleagues too. As we grow we are building trust within our local community and want our staff to help us continue with this.

- We offer a competitive salary(up to £27,000 plus enhancements for Out Of Hours).

- We understand the importance of flexibility and would be keen to consider full or part time roles, a role that fits around your lifestyle and one you can work around your family commitments. Our full time nurses work 37 hours per week.
- We do our own Out of Hours and inpatient care. Currently we have 4 full time vets. The full-time nurse rota currently involves one night on call per week and one weekend in 7 with time off in lieu. Weekend opening hours are 9am-1pm Saturday and 10am-12 noon Sunday.
- Driving licence required.
