What Is a Health Check for Puppies and Kittens?
A health check is a full veterinary examination tailored to young pets. It ensures your new companion is healthy, developing properly, and protected against common risks.
We recommend their first health check between 6–8 weeks of age, with follow-up visits for:
- Vaccinations
- Microchipping
- Weight checks, flea and worm treatment
- Diet and behaviour advice
Our vets will create a personalised care plan based on your pet’s breed, lifestyle, and future needs.

How to Prepare Your Pet for Their Appointment
To help things go smoothly:

Our puppy and kitten health checks start from £44.00. We’ll always explain any additional services or costs before proceeding.
