If your pet isn’t quite themselves, from a mild upset stomach to something more serious, our experienced vets are here to assess, diagnose and treat the issue with compassion and care.
How to Prepare for Your Appointment
To make the most of your visit:
- If you’re visiting us for the first time, let us know and we can contact your previous vets to transfer your pet’s medical history, helping our team stay informed about any past treatments.
- Make a note of symptoms, even small changes in behaviour or appetite as well as the colour and consistency of your pets faeces and urine.
- If your pet is nervous or reactive, let us know when you book and we’ll do our best to make them feel at ease.
- Please transport small pets or cats in a secure carrier, and ensure all dogs are kept on a lead.
What to Expect During Your Consultation
A typical vet consultation lasts around 15–20 minutes and includes:
- A full health check clinical exam, from nose to tail
- A discussion of any symptoms or concerns
- Recommendations for further tests, treatment, or lifestyle changes
- Time to ask any questions you may have
We aim to make every visit as stress-free and informative as possible for both you and your pet.
How Much Is a Vet Consultation?
Our standard vet consultation fee is £44.00, which includes a full clinical examination and expert advice tailored to your pet’s needs.
Follow-up visits or further diagnostics may carry additional charges, which we’ll always discuss with you first.
What If It’s an Emergency?
We understand that emergencies don’t always happen during opening hours. If your pet needs urgent care, please call us immediately on 01946 878108.
Our team will advise on the next steps and whether an out-of-hours emergency consultation is required.
